Description
The old factory, built in the 1930's, was recently extended through the construction of a new seven-storey wing, providing additional floor space for a variety of functions as well as extra office space at entrance level.
The new wing is sharply differentiated from the existing building in terms of design and construction. It is in reinforced concrete throughout, faced with exposed aggregate slabs. The offices have movable partitions and translucent ceiling panels. The building is air-conditioned throughout.
