Marina at Vouliagmeni

Description

The port of Vouliagmeni was planned as part of the tourist development of Vouliagmeni. This Marina was the first to be constructed in Greece and serves the activities of the harbour. The building houses a club-room for the passengers of private yachts, and various services (customs, harbour master, fuel storage, laundry, a small tavern for crew members, and the guard's living quarters).

Transit and general stores of the Marina and living quarters for the personnel will be built during the second stage of construction. A restaurant for yacht owners and their guests has also been planned.
The load-bearing structure is masonry, in the style of the Cyclades. Floors and terraces are of reinforced concrete. This simple construction makes maintenance very simple.
