House at Porto Rafti, Attika

The house is situated 45km. from Athens, on a splendid site with an open view to the sea. It is used both as a summer vacation house and as a week-end cottage throughout the year.

It consists of one main living-dining room, large sliding doors open onto the verandah overlooking the sea. Because the verandah is to the north, a large courtyard has been provided in the southern part of the house, sheltered by the winds and used by the family during wintertime. Two of the three bedrooms have a view to the sea.

The house has been constructed with reinforced concrete, plastered and painted white. A special feature is the stone walls throughout the house, also whitewashed. As a whole, the house is white except for the dark red ceramic floors.
