COUNTRY RESIDENCES IN SKROPONERI OF EVOIA

Overview

Aim of the competition was the creation of a model settlement in Skroponeri, on the mainland of the prefecture of Evia. Entries were sought for the overall organization of the settlement, in response to the existing road planning and the untouched natural environment. Main criteria for the jury were the flexibility of use, the possibility of expansion, the ease of maintenance and the utilization of the elements of the environment as well as the view. The competition was pan-European and gathered 156 entries. All proposals were presented in an exhibition held in Thessaloniki.
